Didn’t Remember, didn’t remember… to send the Nov News Splash!! (sorry)
But, ‘If music be the food of love…’
Here at Splash Point Manor we are obviously very big on music, but we’re also pretty enthusiastic about food and this time of year hearty vegetable soups loom large on our daily schedule.
Ask anyone about their food memories for November and it’s a safe bet that many people will think of Bonfire Nights (how was it?) – toffee apples (tricky to get that first bite in, but so worth the struggle…) and squares of gingery Parkin. Of course in America they celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of November but that’s enough about them.
We have to leave you to nourish your bodies, but we hope our November gigs will feed your soul with music to sustain you.
Seaford’s November guest is ace violinist Mike Piggott, while in Eastbourne at the end of the month we’re host to sax player Tommaso Starace (he’s from Italy – where they know a thing or two about food…)
