Well here we are, first-footing into your inbox with a virtual bottle of Scotch and piece of coal, to wish you the very best for 2024!
We’ve already almost forgotten that other year – what was it now – but we know it had highlights such as…
Gigs is Germany; London (2 x St.Martin-in-the-fields, Ronnie’s and Dean St Pizza Express Jazz Club); “The Maximalist” – Neal’s 2nd album; Tennis Finals; Quiz Night fundraiser; and of course Neal playing for the opening and new weekly residency at what is now judged by Condé Nast as “The Best New Hotel in the World” : Raffles London.
Our Eastbourne club packed out for Elaine Delmar in March and had standing room only for Andy Panayi’s Big Band in December, and our Seaford one also broke attendance records for both the album launch, and Bruce Adams’s visit.

On a personal note, there was the culmination of six year’s work [Thank god – Ed.] for Sue Richardson… there is now a Doctor in the house!
