April, the 4th month. Can we really be a quarter of the way through 2026?? How did that happen?
Easter kicks off this month that’s renowned for its showers, so that’s four days of Hot Cross Buns, chocolate, tulips and painted eggs to look forward to – possibly under an umbrella if you’re enjoying them outside.
Those of you who come to gigs at our Seaford Club at The View (and if you don’t – why not??) will know that our amazing army of knitters have kept charitable organisations supplied with hats, scarves and mittens as they click-clacked their way through the winter months. A huge ‘Thank You’ goes out from us to all those lovely people funding, making and donating the fruits of their labours to help others less fortunate.
And as you can see from the photo above, orphaned lambs in Perthshire are also feeling the benefit of the kindness of voluntary knitters.
So far Seaford hasn’t ventured into the realms of knitwear for animals, but we feel this is only a matter of time. There may be a prize for the first person to do so. We’re thinking balaclavas for bunnies, scarves for calves and mittens for kittens…
So as we race into a shiny new month, take time out to look back at some of our March highlights before you pitch yourselves headlong into the April listings.
